Welcome to our Morzine destination guide page
Here you will find information about the beautiful village of Morzine (which is where we are based), webcams, snow forecasts, local & piste maps, lift passes, tourist office info & more. (For more information on our Morzine transfer service to/from Geneva please click here).
Morzine is situated between Les Gets & Avoriaz in the heart of the massive Portes Du Soleil region (covering 650kms of pistes in both France & Switzerland). Morzine is a perfect mountain getaway for both winter & summer activities. We came here over 10 years ago & have never looked back. We initially came out to enjoy the snowy mountain activities, however local friends told stories of 35 degree summer sun, barbecues, biking & swimming in warm mountain lakes, so we gave it go a go, loved it & the rest is history. Here’s a short video to get your mouth watering:
What to do in Morzine in the winter & summer
In the winter months of course Morzine is perfectly set up for skiing & snowboarding with several chair lifts/bubbles from central Morzine & a free bus service to other local chair lifts/bubbles. Plus drink hot chocolates, vin chauds & eat local fondue’s, meats & cakes!
In the summer, as well as walking, golf, swimming, lake sports, tennis, ice-skating, volleyball, parapenting, road biking, triathlons… Morzine is fast becoming the mecca for European downhill mountain biking. Plus its usually above 30°C so remember the sun cream!
